The quick Cole's Notes version of both Superman's and Batman's histories are told side by side here. President Lex finds out there is a huge chuck of Kryptonite on its way to Earth and both Superman and Batman are investigating and trying to defend themselves against Metallo.

A decent introduction to the series. The thing I like about this duo, at least previously has been they tend to balance each other out well. All the bright sunshine of Superman and the darkness of the Batman work well together. Just when you start getting sick of one type of attitude the comics usually switch to the other. It will be interesting to see if that's how they do it in this series.
