Exile: The Legend of Drizzt Book II #2: Issue #2
The second installment of the Legend of Drizzt brings back a character some may have forgotten, Belwar Dissengulp. In Homeland, the Drow had slain Belwar's mining group and at Drizzt's behest simply cut off the Belwar's hands...leaving him to spread news of the massacre to his people.
It soon becomes obvious that Belwar is content, if not happier, after the accident as his hands have been replaced my magical picks that simply make living his passion easier though Drizzt still feels that he is to blame. The friendship between the two is focal in this issue as is proved when Belwar leaves his people simply to travel with Drizzt...through the Underdark.
Another interesting new character is Clacker, victim to a sorcerer, he has been changed into a beast. However, the drawback is even he cannot control his bestial nature and though Belwar wants him dead, Drizzt does not...personally I'm glad they didn't, it makes for good stories later.
