Countdown to Final Crisis #19: 33: Let's Make A Deal

I have always thought the biggest problem with any anthology book was the fact that one story always seems to be lacking. In this case, I think it is the heroes in the nano verse. It is not as if it is a totally bad story, but when you place it next to the mysteries of Jimmy Olsens powers, or The goings on with Mary Marvel. Not too mention the best story in the book, and that is the parts with Trickster and Pied Piper. Well all of them make me not really care where the Atom is. I just want to get back to the other stories. They make this book fun.

Countdown to Final Crisis #19: 33: Let's Make A Deal

Hey, look it's Kyle! Wait... isn't he Parylax? Well, not in this issue of Countdown.... Just like John Stewart & Hal Jordan aren't fighting in the war in JLA & JSA..... There is no continuity within DC anymore. There's only 52 earths right now, and their storylines have all been used up.

However, this was a great issue, aside from those major errors. The Piper and Trickster stuff is a lot of fun, makes me wish they had their own series.

I understand a lot of people hate this comic, but it really just is good natured fun, nothing more... And it supposedly leads up to Final Crisis, the last of all crisis books, at least we hope so.

Countdown to Final Crisis #19: 33: Let's Make A Deal

Well apparently Kyle survives the Sinestro Corps. He is no longer Parallax in this issue...I knew I should have read Green Lantern first...oh well

First the cover and art were great...the story was tight. I really like the Challengers now...the animosity between Jason and Kyle is automatic...you can feel the jealousy and I believe so can Bob and Donna...Dr Choi leaves the team by a giant hand...this ties into The Search for Ray Palmer: Wildstorm...which is very good as well.

Mary Marvel is being played with I believe by Klarion who wants some of her power...to be honest...this part was quick...besides Mary being super hot...didnt do much for me.

Jimmy Olsen gets chased by Cadmus...another leave out.

This book has some leave outs but the other stories make up for it...as in Piper and Trickster...the Flash saves them from Deathstroke's trap...now they are at Green Arrow's and Black Canary's wedding hiding in a back room in Zatanna's house...it is really funny how they think Wally is calling Zatanna to mindwipe them...and they try to run but get teleported to Zatanna's house...Trickster punches out the more trusting Piper...and meets the magical security guard for Zatanna's house...very funny

Overall great great issue.
