Plot Summary

Overview

Training is almost over for our cadets. Some will graduate. Some will washout. And, yes, some WILL die! It all starts here, in the Initiative's biggest story to date! And with the clock ticking on the first class of recruits, get ready to meet the next batch! Including new Marvels, old Marvels, at least one SKRULL, and...THE IRREDEEMABLE GIANT-MAN?

Also, with the Gauntlet out of commission, just wait until you meet Camp Hammond's new Drill Instructor... he's a real Taskmaster!

Killed In Action, Part 1 of 4: Fresh Meat

I thought that this issue was a good read. The suspence of who actually died leaves you speechless. The only thing I did not like it was a simple mistake of the writers. On page ten, Stature states that her father Scott Lang fought the Taskmaster just once. Scott Lang as Ant-Man actually fought the Taskmaster four different times. The first time with the Avengers, second with just Hawkeye, the third with Spider-man, and lastly with a rag-tag team of Avengers. Over-all a good read. The whole MVP status is not a new twist for comics. Cloning is not a new subject in comics, but more than one is a mind- boggle.
