Amazing Spider-Man, The #30: The Claws of the Cat!

I am not sure where Stan Lee got his ideas from, but I wionder why he would have thought that this particular story would have been interesting? I liked the stuff going on with the supporting cast. J. Jonah Jameson being nervous that he may need to make a public payment to Spiderman as a reward was kind of cool. The cat burgalar stuff though just fell flat. Way to whimsical even for a nineteen sixties comic book. Although the Betty Brant stuff was the emotional stuff, it unfortunately quickly fell into the realm of melodrama. Not a particularly strong issue.
