I've heard that you are supposed to change your bag and boards every few years. That sounds expensive and I have no plans to replace them. I was wondering of anyone does this and if it's really necessary.

I think it really depends on the location of your comics and the quality of bags you use.

I don't. I think it is only necessary if you are the type to keep everything in Mint condition. I really don't need my collection to be mint because I collect for me only and read the stories because they are entertaining to me. I have no expectation/hope of my collection making me rich one day anyway.
