Comet, the Super-Horse, was the horse of Supergirl. He had various super-powers and was a member of the Legion of Super-Pets.
History
Originally a centaur named Biron that was transformed into a full horse by Circe, Comet eventually became the horse of Supergirl. He can turn into a human when a comet flies across the sky.
After Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new Comet debuted on Supergirl #14 (1997). This incarnation had cold-related powers and looked like a man with three fingers, horse-like legs, long white hair, had a star mark on his forehead and a white-and-magenta costume.
Later it was revealed he was Andy Jones, a jockey who had been trampled by horses and "rebuilt" by an organisation called "The Stable" as a superhuman with equine DNA. On a mission, a girl called Andrea Martinez was endangered and to save her life Andy merged with her, becoming another Earth-born angel, the Earth Angel of Love.
