What is he made of anyway?

I've heard he's made of steel, I've heard he's made of osmium, and I've heard he's made of some totally original metal that doesn't occur naturally anywhere else on earth.

"Organic Steel", that what it has always been called. According to one source, it is analogous to, but not the same as, Osmium. Similar properties, different chemical composition.

It's an extremely strong organic steel/metal that is of unknown composition, but it has been compared to osmium, like Panila said.
