The soulsword will have no physical effect on a non-supernatural creature; it will pass right through such a creature as if it were intangible. However, the soulsword can release a nonsupernatural being from any magical spell that it is under. Moreover, the soulsword can physically injure arid even kill a supernatural being such as a demon.

Colossus served with the X-Men alongside Jubilee, and the two became friends.

Colossus was Kitty's first love, and is her boyfriend now. One day Professor Charles Xavier came to the Russian farm to ask Piotr to join his new team of mutants, the X-Men. Xavier was recuiting a new team to rescue the original team being held on the sentient island Krakoa. As Colossus, Piotr decided to remain in the United States to fight along side the X-Men. Piotr had a hard time adapting to the different American way of life but was an asset to his team. Eventually a young student, Kitty Pryde, came to the school and a relationship developed between the two. In armored form, Colossus has superhuman strength and does need to breathe. He can withstand bullets, extreme heat and cold. If he is knocked unconscious, Colossus reverts back to human form. While he has invulnerability, it is possible to injure him. Collosus bleeds pure energy while in metal form, and has no organic organs that can be damaged.

Colossus's uncle

Colossus and Wolfsbane were good friends while teammates on Excalibur. Wolfsbane is a mutant metamorph who can, through mental concentration, transform herself into a wolf, while retaining most of her human intelligence, or into a transitional form which combines both human and lupine aspects. She cannot adopt any other form but these, nor can she take the form of different kinds of wolves. Her wolf form always has the same physical characteristics, which are those of a wolf a few months short of adulthood. Presumably when Wolfsbane herself becomes an adult, her lupine form will be that of an adult wolf.
