Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a really good TV show.  Now here's your chance to jump into things and help fight this war.  Brad and Vinny over at Giant Bomb spent some time playing Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.  Check out the video to see what you can expect from this adventure.

The game will be released by LucasArt Entertainment and has a September 15, 2009 release date. It will be available for Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS and Playstation.

Do you hate the droids (as much as Brad)?  Do you want to shoot these droids to bits.  How does this game look?  Does this look like something you'd want to play?  Not only can you play as a Clone Trooper, you can also play as Anakin.

Personally I vastly prefer the original Clone Wars series. This version is way too kiddy for my taste, plus it doesn't mesh at all with the PT, let alone the OT.

Good idea, but I just don't like Star Wars with kiddie animations, I'm a huge Star Wars fanboy and I really can't stand the childish look.

I thought the droid were a complete cop out.

You are just so far away from the action in that demo that having everything look good feels pointless.

    I agree.

The game looks like it'd be fun for the younger crowd, but for me, it's just another twin-stick shooter, except without all the crazy awesomeness that makes Geometry Wars tons of fun.
