The finale of Clive Barker’s original series is upon us! All the pain and suffering Tristan and Elspeth have gone through has led them to Providence, where they are reunited with Julian…but that’s not the only family reunion taking place, as Wick finally faces his jailers. Clive Barker, Mark Miller, and Haemi Jang bring this epic to a shocking conclusion!

Next Testament is something I began reading when the first issue came out, and for the first few issues it delivered what I wanted: a unique take on a re-imagined third of the Biblical trinity deity which dealt specifically with the more despicable parts of the Old Testament. There was some excellent artwork, some uniquely gruesome and horrifying parts (Clive Barker always delivers on that front), and some rational and truly twisted characters to root for or against. But about halfway through...
