Seriously, he's way too overpowered for Batman. Not to mention his stupid design..........
Clayface (Karlo)
Character » Clayface (Karlo) appears in 877 issues.
Basil Karlo was an actor who upon discovering that a remake of one of his classic horror movies was being made went insane and began killing the cast and crew, wearing the mask of the film's villain Clayface, until stopped by Batman. Initially having no superpowers, Karlo joined with a group of other "Clayfaces" and stole their combined powers, allowing him to shapeshift into any forms he wants.
Clayface is a horrible Batman villain
@jointron33: you know thats the good thing about him hes overpowered
I like watching Batman using his wits to defeat far physically-superior enemies. It's practically Bruce's superpower - and it's always fun to watch him go up against someone superpowered every now and then. Considering the large number of non-powered or tech-based baddies in his Rogues gallery.
Also his design is rad. You be trippin'.

Agree with everything. The design is not great, IMO, but after all, I can't even imgine what would constitute a better design for a character like this.
@degraaf: hes as powerful as iceman
Batman always wins always...i feel like i can flyyyyyyy

The problem is he is over powered but he's not that smart so Batman needs to use his gadgets and wits to win (which usually doesnt take long)
If he was smarter he could be as invulnerable as Iceman i think
What?!?!?! I give up on life
Anyway:

this
I like that he actually has powers, not all of Batman's villains have to be crazy humans, this gives Bats a little challenge, just like Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze or Man Bat. Plus, by now, Batman pretty much knows how to beat him.

@cameron83: yup thats how powerful he is...exsept as some of the other viners say hes an idiot that pretty much sums it up

1. He is not as powerful as Iceman. That is the dumbest thing I've heard,do you know anything about Iceman? Do you just think that he can throw Iceballs like he did in the 70s and 80s and that's it?....unless you were saying this to say that other viners think something this silly.
2. He isn't really an idiot.
@cameron83: yes he is that powerful he can give people like wonder woman a run for there money

................BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
No. Prove it.
Are you talking about Power siphoning? How does that put him in league with Iceman, who can freeze every single molecule in his body with ease?
And didn't he only do that to Wonder Woman because she was made of Clay?
@cameron83: look up clayface vs spiderman even power girl has had trouble with him
And please dont laugh your being a troll you know that right?
@cameron83: look if your wondering the only reason batman always wins against clayface is the abvious...prep

I'm being a troll? Really? What does troll even mean anymore,I guess we can just use it whenever people have differing opinions.
And btw,he absorbed Wonder Woman's powers since she was made of clay.

Ice man can basically control all moisture, including the one in the human body. Even if he is in the desert,he can still take moisture from the air and anywhere. Iceman's powers are FAR more powerful and vast,he can create huge robot-ice constructs with ease and even animate his constructs.
Clayface is powerful, but his powers are FAR more limited. It's like saying Black Lightning is as powerful as Electro or Thor in terms of controlling electricity.
@cameron83: look if your wondering the only reason batman always wins against clayface is the abvious...prep
That....is actually true.
I mean, there were times when he had equipment in his standard gear that could take him down, but that was probably a convenient coincidence, more or less.
@cameron83: you didnt look up spiderman vs clayface did you? Oh and thing with clay face being ultra powerful it turns out he got more powerful in the new 52 now hes able to copy the dna and anything special about it aka powers that is as long as he touching whatever dna hes copying and wikipedia = not a good source
Hm,unless you are talking about this
http://www.comicvine.com/forums/battles-7/clayface-vs-spider-man-1505764/
Since when could he absorb powers (save for Wonder Woman, who was MADE of clay at the time...connect the dots)? To what extent? Has he shown this,or has he only copied the DNA of Batman.....
Oh and,btw,a single,out-of-context image isn't reliable either.
When he can control all of the earth's rock and even have it so finely tuned that he can create living, complex beings out of that rock, then I may say that he is in Iceman's league. When he is just a guy that can shape shift and copy the DNA of a normal human (which is what he seems to have displayed from what I read, unless I am proven wrong because I know that I am not omniscient),then absolutely not.
To make a statement like that is just a gross, inaccurate comparison. Might as well say that Black Lightning is on par with Thor....
But I am not denying his power.
@jointron33: Which one, there have been like 5 of varying degrees of power.
