Luke Skywalker's X-Wing engages an Imperial Tie Fighter in a dogfight, resulting in both ships crash landing on the ice planet Ota. There, Luke, and the Tie Fighter's pilot, revealed to be Boba Fett, are captured by a race called the Snogars, who just want help in restoring their freezing city's power grid to give their people warmth. Meanwhile, Han and Leia, as well as the other core characters from the original trilogy, arrive, searching for Luke. Chewbacca instead finds Mole, who has abandoned the Empire in favor of a life of solitude on Ota. As it turns out, though, Boba Fett was in the sector to find Mole and collect a bounty. The story ends with the Snogars still without heat, Boba Fett trapped in his magnetized armor, and the Luke and company bailing with Mole in tow. Last issue of the series.
