Born in the Phantom Zone to General Zod and Ursa, 12 year old Lor-Zod was sent to Earth and taken in by Lois and Clark. Edit

Origin

A Kryptonian child arrives to Earth in a spacecraft that was heading for Metropolis. The spacecraft is diverted by Superman and is crashed landed without harming anyone. Superman is surprised to find the child and is reminded of his own arrival on Earth. He reads the Kryptonian writing on the spacecraft and discovers his given name is Lor-Zod.

Lor-Zod is taken to the East coast lab of the Department of Metahuman Affairs for testing. He displays super human strength and only speaks the Kryptonian language but doesn’t know what his name is or where he is from. Instinctively Superman knows that the boy is Kryptonian, he doesn’t need the test to confirm what he already knows. The Department of Metahuman Affairs decides to move the child to their headquarters in Washington, D.C. without notifying Superman. He decides to take custody of Lor-Zod and performs a covert mission to acquire him. After getting some advice from his parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent he and Lois decide to raise the child as their own and ask Batman to use his vast resources to create the Christopher Kent identity.

Superman has a press conference and reveals to the world that a kryptonian child has arrived on Earth and is under his care. Lex Luther sends Bizarro to kidnap the Kryptonian child but the attempt fails.

It’s revealed later that Lor-Zod is the son of General Zod and Ursa and that they’ve escaped the Phantom Zone and plan to reclaim Chris as part of their plan to conquer Earth. Lor-Zod was conceived and raised in a prison structure that is not affected by the timeless affect of the Phantom Zone. General Zod and Ursa reclaim their son and capture Lois after placing Superman in the Phantom Zone. While Lois is General Zods prisoner Lor-Zod uses his power to prevent her from being harmed. With the help of Mon-El Superman escaped the Phantom Zone and teamed up with Lex Luther to defeat General Zod and his army.

Lor-Zod resumes his Chris Kent identity and goes back to the custody of Clark and Lois to be raised as their foster child.

Powers

As a Kryptonian, Lor-Zod possesses similar abilities to Superman.
