Chief Lee is the mother of Bethany Lee, and is the police chief of Happy Harbor, Rhode Island. She was not a fan of Happy Harbor resident Snapper Carr, and even less so when he married her daughter. She believes that anything out-of-the-ordinary that happens in Happy Harbor is because of Snapper, especially after the third Hourman came to Happy Harbor.
Chief Lee, called the “Big Chief,” is a tough woman. She has martial arts training, and can be quite gruff to those she does not like.
