    You've Got Some Gallsaberry!

    Highly Recommended!

If you haven't sunken your teeth into this series yet, you haven't tasted the pure genius that is John Layman and Rob Guillory. As I am pretty sure they prefer to remain un-tasted, take it from their near-saboscribner ability to help you experience this delicious work of art.

The story of our favorite "detective-turned-agent-turned-hero-anti-hero" continues - this time it takes him to a remote island with one cluck of a secret!

Along with the fantastic continuation of story, "art that fits the story perfectly" art, and onomatopoeic mastery, we get all those wonderfully placed easter-egg subtleties as well. My personal favorite from this collection was (there were almost too many to choose from): "Red was here too".

In this volume, we are introduced to a few new characters and "character types", as the list of strange people and abilities continues to grow. The amount of violence, gore and humor remains constant - as does the care in which the entire series appears to be written. I know by the end of this series I will be able to pick up any one of the books and find hints and clues relating to another part of the series. Again, this attention to detail is greatly appreciated and has instilled great confidence that I will continue to be pleased by the story to come.

I enjoyed reading Tony Chu's character development in this bo...
