Origin
CHERUB was founded by Charles Henderson during World War II. Henderson found that children could get information and infiltrate certain places more efficiently than adults due to the supposed innocence. He found the Henderson's Boys which eventually came to be known as CHERUB. In the present day nobody knows what it stood for though it is suspected that the CH stood for Charles Henderson.
Creation
Robert Muchamore was the original creator of CHERUB for his series of novels that share the team's name. Ian Edginton and John Aggs were responsible for putting the team into their graphic novel adaptation of the first book in the series: The Recruit.
