Charlotte Witter was a fashion designer also did black market transactions with Doctor Octopus. Doctor Octopus used genetic manipulation to changed her into a human/spider hybrid and he gave her the ability to steal other Spider-Women's powers as long as she destroyed Spider-Man. Charlotter Witter managed to steal the powers of Spider-Woman, Arachne, Madame Web, and Mattie Franklin. Mattie Franklin still fought and managed to steal back her powers, the other Spider-Women's powers and Charlotte Witters powers. Mattie left Charlotte without her powers. In a more recent encounter, it appeared Charlotte's powers were returning, but again she was defeated by Mattie. Charlotte is currently in her grandmother's mansion, in a coma.
