    Getting in the newspaper comic strip game at the age of 14 Charles A. Voight was one of the early creators of the form, his best known newspaper strip being Betty, one of the first glamour-girl strips. 
     
    In the mid 40s she started working for the comics creating such characters as the golden-age Immpossible Man, and Captain Milksop, with his longest running character being Boom Boom Brannigan in Prize Comics.
