Proudstar the Thunderbird
I´ve got ambiguous feelings regarding this book as part of me enjoyed seeing good characters again like Banshee, John Proudstar, Moira MacTaggert, two of the Cuckoos Sisters (Esme and Sophie) in interesting, profound and touching interactions, the other part is shouting to me ears "This is a terrible story, what a lame of scuse of tie-in!!". Unfortunally, despite all the nostalgic brought by seeing Sean reciting his love for Moira and the heart felted debate between the sisters, the lack of an interesting and structured story - even in the big picture, for the plot of Chaos War, this meant nothing - I must admit this was the worst event of Chaos War. I blame it mostly Chris Claremont,´cause his writing about a spirit connected to John who could save the Earth and Destiny showing up with the solution wasn´t interesting enough to hold the story, which reminded a lot of the Alpha Flight one shot. Doug´s art is the only thing atractive to the story. I do not recommend this issue.
