Very Much Alive
I have no doubt that this was the best tie-in in the "Chaos War" saga and perhaps one of the best Avengers books in the decade: with amazing art by Tom Grummett and excellent and vibrating dialogues from Fred Van Lente this pack of dead Avengers turned out to be very much alive and despite their initial doubts, redemption came for them in the act they´re most familiar with: saving lives. I specially enjoyed Vision and Reaper dialogues: very interesting and sheding light where the Vision was ever alive or not. The other Avengers, specially the Druid and Deathcry, weren´t responsible for great dialogues scenes, but if it wasn´t for their joint efforts the Avengers bodies lying helpless in the floor wouldn´t be safe. I guess only the end kind of bugged me, because it was a little senseless and without the proper explanation. Some events in this books and some reactions from the characters - specially the villains, that weren´t so good and interesting - weren´t as good as they could be, but that alone isn´t capable of putting a stain in this beautiful and precise book. Lot´s of characters that I didn´t care about and it was a great oportunity of knowing them a little more. Highly recommended!
