Changeling's true identity remains a mystery to this day.He was once second-in-comand of Factor Three,an group of mutants bent on world conquest.In the end he sided with thw X-men in defeating the Mutant Master who turned out to be an extraterrestrial being.When Changeling found out he was dying he wanted to atone for his past sins he sought out Charles Xavier who had one last mission for the pentitent mutant.

XAVIER'S DOUBLE

Charles asked the Changeling to impersonate him while he secretly prepared a defense against alien invaders called the Z'nox.Changeling died heroically stopping Grotesk from destroying the planet.Wearing a face that was not his own the Changeling found redemption.

POWERS

Changeling had the ability to alter his physical appearance to mimic any other human. He could mask his voice and use his powers to create cloths that appear of the template he is pretending to be. During his time posing as Xavier, Xavier endowed him with minor telepathic abilities, this caused Changleings own telekinetic abilities to surface.
