A young demon-like creature, with 2 little horns on her head and 2 small bat-like wings on her back. She can not fly only float with them. Her parants found her as a baby on their doorstep and therefore named the foundling chance because she was lucky enough to survice the ordeal. She has a wanton charachter, engages in troublesome financial dealings (she pays her rent by selling pictures of her friends feet) and likes to walk around naked. She is fragile, has little force but is very flexible. She falls in love with Funerailles and they become lovers. Finally is is revealled that the devil is her father, which could explain some of characterflaws. Her father tells her her real name is Pipistrelle, but Chance has many doubts that this is true, because who van believe the devil.
