"Slightly Related"
Stuart Immonen is one of the best artist in comics, that I am sure anyone will agree with. The sad part to that statement is that most people would only judge and agree based on his Superhero work. Stuart is a multifaceted artist with a great sense of what needs to be seen visually. Centifolia is the first installment of the behind the scenes access to the many sides of Stuart.
AdHouse may not be a huge company, but one thing is for sure is that they release quality. This book is a collection of well selected work. There are full comic strips in color, such as the Exclusive English version of "Slightly Related" as well as full color pin-ups. Most of the book however is in black and white because much of this book is sketches, layouts or short strips that look better in black and white, such as the real life inspired strips that feel like an Alec tale from Eddie Campbell.
This book retails for $20 USD and is a must for any Stuart Immonen fan. The many sides of Stuart are touched as much as possible for any single volume to contain.
