    Cecil first appeared in issue 377 of British weekly 'boys-own' comic Victor.

    Cecil was a caveman who had been found frozen in a block of ice by Pete Pringle.

    He proved to be a formidable boxer and was now Heavyweight Champion of the World, with Pete as his manager.
