Hot Toys Reveals Selina Kyle/'Dark Knight Rises' Collectible Figure

Posted by G-Man (18883 posts) - - Show Bio

When it comes to collectible figures, you know Hot Toys always goes above and beyond. When I heard there was going to be a figure based on Selina Kyle from The Dark Knight Rises (remember, she was never actually called 'Catwoman'), I was a little concerned. Figures based on characters not wearing full masks sometimes end up looking a little weird or too fake. Of course since this is Hot Toys we're talking about, there shouldn't be any doubt.

It's actually a little creepy at how they managed to capture her likeness. Hot Toys posted several images from their upcoming 1/6th scale figure on Facebook. The figure's release date, full description and price hasn't been released yet. You'll be able to get it at Sideshow Collectibles so you can keep an eye out there.

If you do get this, you can have her fight/team up with the Hot Toys Black Widow figure or have her kick the butts of any Barbies that might be around your house if you have siblings or happen to collect them yourself.

Do you think they captured Hathaway's likeness? Do you think there's a little bit of her soul locked inside? Check out these other pictures.

Am I the only one that, if a toy looks real, wants the face to move so you don't feel like you're posing a dead midget? just saying...

#8 Posted by lifeboy (1675 posts) - - Show Bio

#9 Posted by n25philly (102 posts) - - Show Bio

It looks fine, I just wish they settled on a better facial expression, maybe a smile, since the blank expression doesn't really fit catwoman
