Catwoman is a fictional character originating from DC Comics. Under the costumed alias of Catwoman, Selina Kyle, is a cat burglar with an on-again, off-again, romantic relationship with Batman. She is shown as a woman who is very strong-willed, independent and morally dubious.
@v_scarlotte_rose: Like I said, if it's not meaningful (considering how big of a close-up that is, and how a page like this was destined to be scrutinized), editorial really should have caught it.
@akbogert: True. They probably should have caught it in her own series too, but it's not been nearly as obvious. I only know of it being inconsistent because I just looked for it.
@akbogert: I heard a theory that it's a shapeshifted Black Orchid. She's been missing from Justice League Dark, and isn't on the connecting covers picture.
@jonny_anonymous: Fair enough. Just saying I still don't think those eyes are just a basic art slip-up. And while I didn't read the last issue, I'd gotten the impression that Stargirl was going a bit rogue. But if that's inconsistent with the story then by all means I'm relieved.
At this point it's not so much a matter of Catwoman (since she is all over solicits) but whether someone actually died and/or why such a gratuitous scene. *shrug*
@akbogert: Star Girl was only going rogue in so far as Waller just wan't her to be the "face" of the team and not an active member so she snuck out so she could help the team
@jonny_anonymous: Right. I just didn't know if her decision to ignore orders and participate may have involved trying to sneak in as Catwoman. Again, this isn't a book I'm reading or have been keeping close tabs on, so forgive me if that's a really stupid suggestion.
