Does Catwoman really love Batman?

Catwoman

Catwoman, the costumed alias persona of Selina Kyle, is a mostly reformed cat burglar with an on-again, off-again, romantic relationship with Batman. She is shown as a woman who is very strong-willed, independent and morally conflicted with her past.

He's the only man she hasn't held completely at arm's length (though she manages to here and there) and he's the only guy who can break her down so I would say YES. Slam Bradley was just a friend with benefits and Stark was more of a mentor to her who was quickly kicked to the curb when she met Batman.

The issue with their relationship is that he's the busiest man in the entire world and is emotionally not all there. She also clings very closely to her own dysfunctional penchant for stealing so in a different time when they both can finally shift their priorities and maybe get into therapy...there could be a chance.

It probably depends on how you define love, but when I think of love, I think of romantic chemistry along with a commitment to help another person. I do not think Catwoman' qualifies.

Love is a thing which is hard to define and is different between every two people that claim to be in it. The only two people that can thus define it are the two people involved. I think that they do love each other, though not in a normal sense.

I think they do love each other but not any given moment. They can love each other. But Batman is also stoic towards it and Catwoman can easily change sides or her feelings at any given moment. The best example of this is Batman: Hush.
