Catwoman, the costumed alias persona of Selina Kyle, is a mostly reformed cat burglar with an on-again, off-again, romantic relationship with Batman. She is shown as a woman who is very strong-willed, independent and morally conflicted with her past.

When the [crazy] rumor started floating around that Cher was being considered to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie, the majority of the people thought it should never happen. I do think it could be a really really interesting twist if they went that route but like most, I'd rather have a younger, sexier Catwoman. That's just part of who she is.

Comicbookmovie.com posted a youtube clip of Cher on the Ellen show and addresses the notion when Ellen asks her if she's going to do it. Cher pretty much agrees that it would be a crazy idea and says, "I'm too old to be Catwoman. I could be Grandma Catwoman or something."

Grandma Catwoman? There's something I never thought I'd see. Let's keep it that way.

Here's the clip if you're interested. The Catwoman part starts about three minutes in. I'm not sure if there's any other comment on it after that point because I stopped watching. At least we know who won't play Catwoman. Still no idea on who would or if Catwoman will even be in the next movie.

I didn't even watch this vid. I don't hate Cher, but the idea of her in a leather catsuit makes me wonder....which part of the suit is leather, and which part is Cher? Think about that one for a minute. Bwaa Haa Haaa!!

Cool? Probably if Cher was suspected to be the first meta human due to the fact of the 5000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Lts. Or Botox and Plastic in his system, that'd be cool.

Hehehehe. The only way Cher as Catwoman would work is if she's in The Dark Knight Returns universe. That would actually make a whole lot of sense... if she could move.
Selina Kyle DOES look a little bit like her, however, when drawn by Tim Sale.

Like Melisa Ethridge, Cher has a man's voice, so it would turn the movie into a total comedy right there.

They should find someone who is younger to play as Catwoman like Angelina Jolie. I think someone like Angelina Jolie would be a perfect Catwoman,by the way I think Cher met that she would be
Catwoman's grandmother when she said,"Grandmother Catwoman." In other words she met she would play
as catwoman 's grandmother who could became Catwoman be for she did,but I prefer someone who hasn't
been in a batman movie. Like my favorite villain"Firefly."If Firefly was in it, he could become Batman's partner
Then decided to be Batman's rival in fighting crime,because Batman rejected his help. I believe that this is how Robin could appeared in this new Batman movie series. Then Batgirl and Dick Grayson's Robin costume could be in Batman 4 if they made it.
