I'm not sure why they ended the Catwoman series. I don't think they canceled it due to lack of sales because Will Pfeifer writes Catwoman better than anyone, David Lopez's art supplies the appropriate drama, and they had Adam Freaking Hughes doing covers. It seems like they would have ended it going into Batman R.I.P. which makes sense due to her appearance in the Hush storyline. My time line might be way off though. Regardless, this issue end the series with class which isn't something a lot of my favorite ended titles can say. In Catwoman #82 we follow Batman perusing Catwoman through the East end of Gotham. The chase itself is great showing of some of Gotham's set pieces but the what really makes this story great is what happens after the chase.
I reread this issue when I need to be reminded of that. This issue leaves things on a high note.
