Catwoman #83 - Night and The City by zombiecomputer on January 14, 2010

  After being disappointed in last year’s Final Crisis, I decided not to keep up with Blackest Night.  However, when I saw that they were raising the Catwoman series that came to an end all-to soon, I had to pick up this issue.   I was happy to know that I could read this issue without having to stay current with Blackest Night.   In fact, the only history you should know when picking up this issue is between Catwoman and Black Mask; she killed him.   There it is, that is all you need to know....

Now I loved this issue everything about it was appealing to me. Selina is one of my all time favorite DC characters and Tony Bedard and Marcos Marz work so well with her. I will start off by saying the art was fabulous and very well done with very fluid fight scenes. The story was very creepy and scary I can say in all honesty that I was dead scared at some points during the story. Lemme just start by saying- I am a HUGE fan of Roman Sionis as the Black Mask. I think I can safely say at this point that he's pushed past all the other characters I like to claim the number one spot as my absolute favourite.  That being said, I was completely overjoyed to see a new comic out that had Roman in it, even though he's been... kind of dead.
