Star Sapphire and Green Lantern have a lot in common. They're both part of a Corps, they both have Power Rings, they both hate Sinestro and they're both pilots. What do you think?
Get a room. There's people around!Carol Ferris
Character » Carol Ferris appears in 912 issues.
Carol used to be a pilot, but, after her father retired, she gave it up to run the family business (Ferris Air, a company in Coast City that makes aircraft). She hired her childhood friend, Hal Jordan, as a test pilot. Soon after Hal became a Green Lantern, Carol found herself possessed by a Star Sapphire gem. The gem gave her power, but also altered her personality when used. After the formation of the Star Sapphire Corps however, Carol has been able to remain herself and act as a hero.
Should Carol Ferris get back together with Green Lantern?
think she was brainwashed 'er something.
meh, I say meh , if they get back together have Jean Loring and Ray Palmer get back together even though he's gone hardcore and she's probably dead.
"Does it matter he is old now. He should of had kids by now if he ever plans to settle down "
I don't think he's too old. Superman is at least 70 years old now if you follow the continuety of Action Comics #1. Hal Jordan will remain an ageless character just like every other superhero.
"@NightFang said:Or the babe could be named after Hal's father, Martin Jordan."That'd be funny. Hal Jordan Jr.Or they'd probably name him after Carol Ferris' dad. Carl Jordan. "Sounds like a fun idea, maybe she could have his children.

"HEck they should be the next DC couple to be married "
I can see that. Ganthet is the vicar saying "Do you Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Space Sector-2814 take Carol Ferris, Star Sapphire of Space Sector-2814 to be your lawful wedded wife?"
"I do" says Hal. Ganthet asks the same question to Carol and she says yes.
"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you Lantern and Sapphire"
If they do get married then they'll most likely have the wedding in Coast City. The cover will most likely be Hal in a groom's uniform but it has a Green Lantern-esque themecarrying Carol in her Star Sapphire-esque wedding dress. Instead of wedding rings, they'll be wearing their respective power rings.
I wonder if Geoff Johns will consider this idea though?

Carol Ferris is the only true love for Hal Jordan. No matter how many women he has and no matter how many times she becomes Star Sapphire, which by the way is getting to be an equal amount for each. Those two should be locked in a room and left to sort it all out.
Now that she admitted to Hal that she changed to help/save him do you think the marraige idea is closer to reality
I think so. Cowgirl is cool but Carol seems more like the kind of woman who Hal Jordan loves...even if he is a little bit of a ladies man.
You know, I've never seen a moment in a comic where Hal acts all manly and flirtatious towards women before. Lately, he's always serious and determined to get the job done, which is a good thing.
Honestly I do. I mean, the follow up to Blackest Night is Brightest Day right? Hal and Carol deserve to sort things out and then step back a bit out of the lime light (no pun intended lol). I think people get tired of them because Hal is ALWAYS a focus (he is the man though) and therefore his business becomes dramatized.
I'd like to seem him used less after all this Blackest Night / Brightest Day stuff and refocus on the other characters in the GLC / Other Corps. Maybe he goes to Oa to oversee the GLC while Kyle or Guy come back to earth for a bit. Maybe Carol goes with him as a sort of liason from the Star Sapphires (as the Guardians / Zamarons have a shaky history) and they both give up the spotlight to someone else for awhile? I dunno.
Hey... if they did get hitched, what about the part when the priest / ceremonial overseer says "You may now EXCHANGE rings?" LOL Carol as a GL isn't that funny but old Hal as a Star Sapphire is a hilarious concept..... and kinda disturbing... Like a super powered Herbert the pedophile from Family Guy lol. :)
i think they will start getting together and then she will get killed off but then a year later she will come back becuase thats how all comics are these days
