Carnage is back. Unfortunately this might be a bit of a spoiler for you if you haven't been reading the current Carnage miniseries. But realistically, everyone knew he'd be back. If you haven't been reading the miniseries, you might be wondering how the heck he could survive getting torn in half by Sentry before. I'll leave that for you to discover on your own.

Today, Marvel announced Carnage U.S.A., a five issue miniseries by the acclaimed team of Zeb Wells and Clayton Crain.

Making up for lost time, Carnage is bringing a whole new meaning for "red state" as he leaves a wake of bloodshed and lunacy throughout the nation.

What about Spider-Man? Spider-Man and the Avengers will go on a brutal hunt to capture Carnage before the American heartland falls under his mass-murdering spree.

The good news is you have time to prepare for all the killing. Carnage U.S.A. begins in December. As Marvel puts it, it will be "the most mind-blowing cross country tour fans have ever taken."

The five-issue miniseries will sport a $3.99 price tag but since it's out in December, you have time to start saving.

5 issues at $3.99, that's about $21.70 with sales tax here and all that.  The artwork looks INCREDIBLE...but considering the price I think I actually would be motivated to wait for the trade of this. Still, I want it!

Sounds too much like every other Carnage story to me. 

I've never understood all the love for this guy, he has always seemed like a less-interesting Venom to me. I might pick #1 up just to see what all the fuss about him is...

Not into Venom nor Carnage all that much, but that cover art is absolutely awesome.   The price for the comics---not so much. 

All the covers look amazing that have been released so far but can't wait .

This is something I have to read. It's a disease. Anything with the symbiotic characters I have to read. It's a compulsion. And I mean, how can you look at that cover art and say "no thanks?"

eh, the $3.99 kills it for me.  When I can only buy so many books per week, if I'm on the fence about two titles and one of them is $2.99, that's the book I'm gonna go with every time.

I liked the Carnage mini so I'll try and put this on the list (how I'm going to accomplish cutting back with all the new stuff Marvel and DC are coming out with this year is beyond me at
