    My GAL Carnage?! (Spoilers!)

That's right, Carnage is a female in case you missed last issue. And throughout the course of the issue, I really began to take a liking to her.

Now, you have to understand, I usually don't like replacing old characters with new ones who take over their old identity. If it's not broke don't fix it and all that... So this is unusual for me. Luckily Wells makes the new Carnage host likeable, relatable and yet sympathetic. I really enjoy closeups inside her mind when she and the symbiote battle for control of who they are and such.

The Spidey and Iron Man parts remind me of a buddy cop movie, and I love it. I didn't think Iron Man would be integral to the story, but Wells has fit him in very nicely to plot.

Two of my other highlighs were when Doppelganger came back and started rampaging, and when Shriek saved him. Seeing her coming back to her evil ways was awesome, and she looked good doing it, too.

Which brings me to Clayton Crain's art. While it may seem a tad hard to decipher at times (He's come a long way from Venom vs Carnage), for the most part, i love it. He brings a real eye catching look to the book, and I love seeing what he's gonna bedazzle us with next.

The ending has me somewhat puzzled. We finally we find out what happened to a certain Mr.Kasady. He's alive with his lower half having been replaced by a cyborg parts. Just when I was getting to really enjoy the female Carnage, too!  Yet, I am curious as to what's gonna happen with him back! Oh what a tangled web Zeb Wells weaves (Try saying that 10X fast)!

I cannot wait for the next issue!

      Carnage: Great Art! 0

A female Carnage is just the first of many surprises in this iss'. Written by Zeb Wells, Joss Whedon's son, this is great for fans of Cletus Kasady as >>>SPOILER ALERT<<< he appears near the end, not feeling entirely human, since he's gone Borg from the waist down.  Spider-Man and Iron Man have clearly put the Civil War unpleasantness behind them as they team up against Carnage. Which is good, because as enjoyable as it was to pit them against each other and have Parker rig his...

      Review: Carnage #3 0

As the new Carnage carves its way out of prison, Spidey and Iron Man discover the symbiote isn't the only villain who's been brought back. The Good Wells' script has such a great cadence. You feel every beat of the story - - from the argumentative head games at the beginning to the terrifying, piece-by-piece surprise reveal at the end. I especially enjoyed how he makes Carnage and  his associates, Shriek and Doppleganger, out to be like a horrible virus that somehow keeps back, again and again...
