Dialog is important and I think the team behind Captain Marvel gets that, as this issue has some great dialog between Carol and Monica that makes it a joy to read. This issue also features a nice little battle, with a bit of tension although it ends rather abruptly which, given it's the focus of the issue is a bit annoying. Still it's a nice little issue and a good change of pace from the time travel arc which felt like it dragged on a bit.A nice little issue that shouldn't disappoint fans of th...

Good Small arc 0

Captain Marvel #8 by bastionpayne on December 20, 2012

I enjoyed the end to this 2 book story arc. The banter between the women was still excellent and all parties got some shine time. I also appreciated the reveals in the story that expand on the powers of each woman that we can assume to be part of their power set in the future. I gave it 5 stars, but I would knock it for still feeling like a filler, and postponement for a more relevant arc. I really do think that it was being held into marvel now released....
