After their escape from earth, Captain Harlock and the Arcadia arrive at the asteroid base "SSX" for much needed repairs. Commander Muda changes his tactics on how to kill Harlock. He hires mercenaries and increases the reward payment for the death of the Captain, and Queen Emeraldas. Emeraldas arrives at SSX, she meets with Tochiro and promises to bring back equipment needed for repair on the Arcadia. On the queens departure from the base, she runs into a more advanced ship than her own. This ship goes by the name, Dark Victory, on board is man called, Torian, with intentions unknown.
