History
George was a former NYPD police captain. He was the one who helped with the Nullifier that Doctor Octopus had Spider-man steal. He was a fan of Spider-man and knew that both Parker and Spider-man were one and the same. He died when he saved a child from falling debris during a fight between Doctor Octopus and Spider-man. Before he died he revealed to Spider-Man that he knew he was secretly Peter Parker and told him to take care of his daughter Gwendolyn Stacy.
