    uShowcase #8 The first appearance of Captain Cold

    Flash V2 #182 An issue completely devoted to the Flash's most iconic foe, Captain Cold. If there is one comic that sums up who Captain Cold is and why he's such a great villain it is this issue. Even if you have never picked up a Flash comic in your life, this comic is a self contained story all about Cold that you can just pick up and read.

    Rogues Revenge A fairly self contained story where Cold and the Rogues have been crossed, and seek retribution. It's also one of few stories where the Rogues use lethal force in a fight.

    Flash V4 Issues 6, 7, 11, 12, and Flash Annual 1; A selection of issues from Flash's New 52 series that focus primarily on Captain Cold and his relationship with both the Flash and the Rogues. Reading the entire Buccellato and Manapul run is more advised, but if you just want Captain Cold centered material pick those issues up.

    Flash 23.3/Rouges #1 and Forever Evil A one shot where the Rogues get an entire story devoted to their team and Cold's place as the leader, and a series where the major villains of the DCU step up. Both set up Cold as a major character, are excellent stories, and help set up Cold's current status (at the time this is being written) in the DCU.

    Justice League Volume 6 "Injustice League" Following the conclusion of Forever Evil Captain Cold gets a job with Lex Corp and joins the Justice League. In this book Captain Cold steps during the Amazo Virus story line and helps the League fight of a horde of super powered zombies that have been infected by a powerful virus.

    The Colonel of Two Worlds A comic where Captain Cold and the Mirror Master work for an evil version of the Colonel from KFC... that description says it all
