Leonard Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold, is heading to the CW! Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has been cast as the rogue and will make his debut in the fourth episode of The Flash. Executive Producer Greg Berlanti stated we'll witness Snart's origin as well as the origin of the Rogues.

It was also "hinted" that Gorilla Grodd could eventually appear in the series and Geoff Johns stated he believes the upcoming show is “the most faithful DC adaptation ever.” Well, that's certainly raising expectations just a bit! Second, I have many questions: will he have superpowers or cold-guns? Will he be working with Golden Glider? And if so, will she have powers?

Prison Break remains one of my favorite series ever (even if it ran out of steam). It was the show responsible for getting me into TV dramas.

Killer Frost and Captain Cold in one show? That would make for quite the showdown when they both get their powers.

Nice, this was the only character I was waiting for to be confirmed in this series, and also a great actor for the role!

The first season is absolutely amazing! The second season is also solid.

The 3rd season sucks because it was the writer's strike year, the 4th was better, but not quite up to the first two.

Still check it out. Its soooo badass.

Comic Book roles are attracting some big names. It's no longer just disregarded as kiddie bulls**t.

But will he have Cold Arms or the Cold gun? Likely the arms but man something about a crook just making a cold gun is hilariously awesome

Pfft, well this is gonna be terrible. The guy already playeda criminal! I guess he has no fear of being cast in the same role in everything......And I mean, he's too goodlooking to play Captain Cold! The producers don't really want women to swoon for the villain instead of the hero, do they? That's dumb. I don't think I'll try with this show.

If you're continuing to read this, please know that I was being completely facetious in my statement above and it was a sly diss on people who have to criticize EVERY casting choice. Really, I couldn't be happier with this choice because I loved Prison Break and I know this guy delivers. Alongside the third season of Arrow, I honestly can't wait for this show to begin.

It's nice to hear it's a faithful adaptation even though I like new spins on old characters too. Nowadays it feels like creators try too hard to make things new when a character crosses over to TV or film.
