I'm still absolutely gutted that Marvel is axing this title -- maybe I should be miffed at all you bastards for not buying it along with me? Anyways. Paul Cornell and m'boy Kirk are going out with a bang, as #14 and the Annual that preceded it were two of the strongest installments of the series thus far. I mean, last issue, everyone died. Cap was exiled, Blade was wandering the hinterlands. Dracula slaughtered parliament. Yet, the "twist" was so undetectable, that when it happens, and you're watching Pete Wisdom & co. standing at the monitor marveling at their own ruse you realize just how awesome comics can be. And how wonderful this heartfelt series was/is.

"I don't need to tell you what to do, you're the Captain."
    "Yes, I believe we've met."
    *Brian and Pete pound fists*

Oh, how I'll miss you CB&MI13.

I don't know why i waste $3 on this title every month.  This vampire thing has gotten so boring (are they trying to play off of Twilight's popularity?)  that i haven't even been able to finish this issue. I have picked it up at least 4 times just to get bored and throw it down. THANK YOU Marvel for dumping this title.  I won't be tempted to give it ANOTHER second chance!! While we're at it why don't we just kill off all the characters in the book. Captain Brittain was LAME with Excaliber and even worse with MI13
