It's a "point one" issue so that means it's the perfect jumping on point, right? Guess again. Jonathan Hickman creates his own rules for this issue and it will catch you off guard.
It's a good thing Red Hood and friends were in Gotham last issue so they could stick around for the big Batman crossover event. Seeing Jason take part is pretty fascinating.
Overview: Blade is back. And what is Lady Jacqueline Falsworth to him, except another dead vampire? Plus: Excalibur in the suburbs, the tears of a Skrull and tea with Union Jack.
I have never really kept up with Marvels British super hero's but for some reason when MI 13 came out I had to start reading it. At first I was sceptical due to it being a band of hero's from the little known part of marvel, however I was pleasantly surprised. The artwork so far is very cool and in this issue we see some serious images. In this issue we see The arrival of a well known character though he is not known for being British, Blade. Union jack also jumps into the frame. My verdict is that this issue is seemingly slow paced in comparison to the earlier issues however its all building up to a surprise climax on the last page, which I saw coming but the way it was delivered was cooler than I expected.
I cant wait for the next issue to come out. 4 stars
