Will Captain Atom return?

Does anyone know when Captain Atom/Monarch will return? I tried looking up some info and found nothing. Someone updated the page and said that he would appear in Action Comics this fall, and when I looked that up, it only mentioned Prime returning in comics. Anyone know something? LOL.

captain atom's slated to appear in action comics this winter according to writer, Geoffrey Johns.  Once asked at a convention regarding Monarch's return, Didio said no, so it's most likely in his classic silver look.

He's probably only dead for tax purposes. He'll be back.

Captain Atom is living energy,
He didn't die because it was his own containment suit that exploded and all the energy scattered all over the place.
All they have to do is make him a new suit to contain the energy
and he'll be up and running again.

YES! It's official! Captain Atom can't die!

Captain Atom isn't living energy in the comics like he is in JLU. In the comics, he's a normal middle-aged man. But, at will, he can make the Dilustel Armor cover his body. It's the armor that provides the power of the Quantum Field, as well as other superhuman abilities.

highly unlikely considering New Krypton won't be finished atleast until the end of December

all I'm saying is that the idea may have been delayed/cancelled

I recall when Johns said about the return of Captain Atom, I remember him saying something like this:

"We'll bring a few old supporting cast members back; Krypto, Brainiac..maybe even captain atom"

I don't think he really announced anything, just said an idea
