Kree warrior Edit

Bio:
Captain Att-Lass one one of the most decorated soldiers in the
Kree military, and was sent to Earth to retrieve Doctor Minerva, who has
lived as a spy and scientist on Earth for many years. Minerva had
discovered the Psyche-Magnetron and had used its' power to give herself
super kree powers. When she met Att-Lass she became attracted to him and
allowed him to be enhanced by the Magnetron as well. Before leaving for
Kree space they viewed a television broadcast of Quasar III, and thought
they recognized his quantum bands as devices that were the prototypes for
the nega-bands used by Captain Marvel. Calling himself Atlas, he
accompanied Minerva to the AIM Weapons Expo and hired AIM to help recreate
the bands. They decided to send their agent MODAM against Quasar III, but
she was defeated (Quasar #9).

Undaunted, Atlas and Minerva ambushed Quasar III and attempted to steal his
quantum bands, but failed. Quasar III let them go with the promise that
they would never return to Earth (Quasar #10).

Alongside Minerva he broke into the tomb of Captain Marvel to steal his
nega-bands. He faced Quasar III and was captured, but they were all
ambushed by the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. Once he got ahold of the nega-bands
he hit them together and exchanged positions with Rick Jones (Quasar #32).

Rick had been with Wonder Man on Earth and he fought both Wonder Man and
Quasar III by swapping positions back and forth until he was captured by
Quasar III (Wonder Man #7).

Atlas was freed from Avengers custody by the Imperial Guardsman
Shapeshifter pretending to be Doctor Minerva. He was lead straight to the
Imperial Guard's clutches, where they took the nega-bands (Avengers West
Coast #81).

He was drained of all his strategic knowledge by the Imperial Guardsman
Oracle, but then freed from their captivity by Shatterax (Quasar #33).

Captain Atlas then joined the Kree Starforce and went to Kree-Lar to fight
the Avengers. He survived the detonation of the nega-bomb, but then
appeared to commit suicide because he felt betrayed when he learned the
Kree Supreme Intelligence was behind the plan for the bomb (Avengers
#346-347).

It was revealed that Captain Atlas had survived and
was merely hiding with Doctor Minerva on an uninhabited planet, where the
Silver Surfer stumbled across them. They convinced the Surfer that Atlas
was still suicidal and Minerva was taking care of him, but in reality they
plan to parent a new superior Kree race, thanks to their enhanced forms
and the unlocking of their dormant genes by the nega-bomb (Silver Surfer
III #79).
Powers:
Captain Atlas is a blue skinned Kree, a race of humanoid aliens
from the planet Kree-Lar. They are similar to humans, but stronger thanks
to the planet's higher gravity. Atlas was exposed to the Psyche-Magnetron
which also granted powers to Warbird and Doctor Minerva. He gained similar
powers, although at a reduced level. He can fly, lift nearly 10 tons and
is more durable then an average Kree. Atlas is a trained soldier and a
master of hand-to-hand combat.

Atlas wears a Kree military uniform which protects him from harm and the
rigors of space, as well as providing him with an atmosphere he can breath
while on earth. He has a uni-beam on his wrist, but prefers hand-to-hand
combat. For a short time Atlas wore the nega-bands, which enhanced his
physical abilities and allowed him to swap physical places with Rick
Jones.
