But I'm still if-y about what exact design. I have to get this perfect because it's going to be on my body for the rest of my life & I've never examined the shield as closely as I have in the last week. Picking how thick I want the stripes, how the artist drew the star, & if I want an outline or not. So far I'm really liking the shield in the bottom left. I like how the blue area is larger & the star isn't freakishly perfect like the bottom right.
Well, most comic book tattoos are lame. It's a bit like getting a band's logo tattooed on you. It's the best thing in the world until they start making crap albums ;)
Anyway, if you really REALLY want to get Cap's shield, then I recommend you look long & hard for a bloody good tattooist. I have seen so many rebel alliance (Star Wars) tattoos that are just plain BAD because the tattoo artist couldn't do a perfect circlular line. Circles often go wonky. So do a lot of research before hand on where to go and who to do the tattoo.
