Was it ever noted the specific parts of the war he was in? Was he just in Germany? Did he fight in North Africa? Italy? Guadacanal?

@krspacet: He fought in primarily the European campaign, but also fought in the Pacfic as well.

Way back in Avengers, (maybe 188?) the team is in Russia and a military commander recognizes Cap from his days on the Russian Front. Everything else I have seen, he's on various parts of the Western Front and behind lines in Germany. But there is much I have not seen.

We've seen him fight in the Western Front - like D-Day. We've also seen him in the Eastern Front, ala the Winter Soldier arc. We've seen him in the Pacific (Two Americas flashback), and we've also seen him in the Med/African theater (Wolverine). Heck, he's even been to Antarctica (Book of the Skull). Basically Cap and the Invaders flew all around the war to complete one mission after the other, he's basically fought in every major theater of WWII.
