I'm curious- just WHAT does Cap do for relaxation? No I don't mean train in a gym in order to keep his fighting edge up! Surely he must have some free time on his hands and as his then paramour Diamondback points out in CAP#371, with all work and no play he's headed for burnout. I mean does he watch TV( if so what does he watch- "NCIS" "Days Of Our Lives" legal dramas like "The Good Wife" "A Few Good Men" "Rules Of Engagement" "JAG" "Twelve Angry Men", war films like " The Battle Of Midway" "The Dirty Dozen" " Full Metal Jacket", sitcoms like "Two Broke Girls" "Brooklyn: Nine Nine", "The Big bang Theory" cartoon series like "The Simpsons" ? Does he surf the Net? Does he hunt( doubt it although Cap says he supports the right to keep and bear arms). Or does he just curl up with a good book(preferably on American history)? One thing I doubt he does for relaxation is what both Cameron Diaz and screen tough guy Russell Crowe say they do- namely knit!

I think he reads. History books to catch up on what he missed and to study military tactics. He also reads the classic literature because thats the kind of guy he is. He watches classic movies. I think he probably plays piano too. He also hangs out with his friends like Sam or Tony. I think he would spend the majority of his time training or working out though.

When was the last time he read or watched something for the sheer FUN of it???

After all, even soldiers in wartime are entitled to leave!

He is an artist so maybe he draws? I agree with the original poster though, I wish we actually saw him relaxing every now and again, other than sipping coffee in costume in Avengers tower.

Yep. Dude went to art school and used to draw comics about himself for a living. For a time, when he still had a secret identity, his wide, flat sketchbook bag also contained his shield, just in case.

Listens to records, stays up late watching monster movies and draws.
