As the interview was wrapping up, I asked him about what he's doing next, as part of a question about what he looks for in scripts. And at the last second, he said that, "I think it's time for me to go back to playing some of the really good guys who can get the job done, like Captain America, maybe." I immediately asked him if that was a hint, and his response was even more confusing.

If he was younger i could see it happening if he seriously buffed up... but now?.. There are better choices out there.

he sucks as an actor and he has a lazy eye also hes too old.

It's great you were able to do an interview with this actor, but I think even he stated something about "Cap a bit older. "  Seems like a nice fellow, but , sadly, he is a bit too old for the role.  

I keep saying it and will say it again, Marvel should just hire unknowns so they can save dough and spend the remaining funds towards producing decent movies.

I always thought Thomas Jane should have played Cap as opposed to the Punisher...hell, Jane is naturally blond, so I perceive him as an ideal as Captain America.

As for Neal McDonough, I say he would be better as Hawkeye/Clint Barton.

He already ruined M. Bison in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. Please not good ole' Cap also.

Yeah, the casting of Cap is unbelievably tough, I say. I always thought Mark Valley or Aaron Eckhardt  (from Two-face to Cap!) would also make decent, if older, Captains.

I've thought about Paul Walker before too.  Just not sure if he's "wholesome" enough.  I'm at a loss whether it should be an unknown or someone famous.  The way Marvel seems to be casting these days, they'll probably go with someone famous.

Personally, I like it... but anyone who was in "Ravenous" is cool in my book.

OMG i just thought of the perfect actor, his name is Cam Gigandet i think and hes from that movie Never Back Down hes blonde, blue eyed i think, muscular, good-looking, and a good actor, lemme kno what u think:

I think he'd be good. I cant really think of another actor.  Most of the younger dudes are pretty  wimpy.
