That honor belongs to Batman.
Captain America
Character » Captain America appears in 11752 issues.
During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.
Captain America: the grandmaster of PIS
@alexander505: Perhaps not in his exact continuity, but Batman has done ridiculous stuff before.
@xmentas: these are ultimate characters. the hulk is a lot weaker and cap's like a 5 tonner. dont get your panties in a bunch just yet. and batman has way more pis moments than issues he's been in.
@thetimestreamer: um..okay? You're bringing up a pretty old comment, and a bunch of people already explained why Hulk was getting owned. Thanks though.
Captain America punches Hulk=100 pages of discussion with fanboys claiming it's with in his abilities cause he's TEH a SUPERSOLDIER.
Wow, that pretty much summarizes the discussions I've been having with cap fans on this site over the last few weeks.
batman is the grandmaster of PIS
2 true

Not all Cap fans I hope. ;-)

You're pretty much the exception!
Captain America loses fights so often. Like in Winter Soldier, Crossbones beat the $hit out of him
Worth noting that Lukin was messing with his head using the Cosmic Cube during the fight, unlocking ugly memories in Cap's head and making him lose focus.
Captain America isn't the Grandmaster of PIS. He's the best.
That's why it can be unbelievable to some when he pulls off all the seemingly impossible things he does.
This. He has had his PIS moments, but for the most part, he's just that good.
wut is lyf
wut is lyf
i know this is PIS but can someone give me a rational explanation
@hyperbeing: Onslaught is psychic entity...he can't be physically harmed.
@hyperbeing: Onslaught is psychic entity...he can't be physically harmed.
i know that but for a minute was thinking of something along the lines of Proteus . who was hurt when colossus punching him due to him being made of metal. and cap is not directly hurting him but instead using his shield. but that would not explain the blood. either way i still think this is PIS. but i was expecting somone to give me a rational explanation on how.
Just a clarification on Cap's peak human abilities... Brubaker said it best, IMO, Captain America isn't just a peak human...when humanity evolves to the next step of evolution they will be stronger and faster, etc, etc than what we currently are now, and Cap is the peak of that. It's an evolutionary thing...
This is a post by @SlimJ87D from an interview by Ed Brubaker:

"Just physical exertion. While I don't think of Cap as 'super' like Spider-man or Superman, he's clearly not Batman with a shield. He's not just like a guy who works out all the time and is trained. He's been enhanced, and I wanted to show that a bit."
"See, I never understand why everyone gets so worked up about this stuff. Cap was given the Super-Soldier Serum. The first word there is SUPER. He's not superman, but clearly, he's been shown to be much faster and stronger than a well-trained athlete, many many times. One of everyone's favorite Cap appearances seems to be DD: Born Again, where he's shown running to fast that he's a breeze."

"I see it as he's the ultimate of human potential. Not something the modern man could ever be, but like an evolutionary next-step, basically. He's not Thor or Spiderman, but he's not Batman, either."
The links don't work
@alexander505: Perhaps not in his exact continuity, but Batman has done ridiculous stuff before.
This is taken out of context and used to show Batman's insane plot armor, when in reality the Spectre allowed him to kick him, so that he could vent his anger
@alexander505: When it comes to Batman, people have blown his plot armor out of proportion, when in reality most street levellers like Cap have the same if not more plot armor. When Batman faces Darkseid, Superman or the Justice League he loses or barely escapes, if anything that's pretty weak plot armor.
@dmnb2wavy: the Namor one isnt
@kgb725: so cap (a dude who can lift let’s say 2-7 tons) making namor bleed (a dude who tank punches from iron man who can destroy mountains and split islands) isn’t pis?
Cap is so far below namor that it isn’t even funny. Namor is mountain lvl and cap is not even building lvl.
@dmnb2wavy: No. The nose is the weakest part of the body and doesnt require much force to break or make bleed.
@kgb725: do you Actually think cap can make Thor or hulk nose bleed?
Honestly this makes no sense. Namor nose is relative to his own body and of course would have durability relative to his stats otherwise it makes no sense for his nose to be ridiculously weaker than the rest of his body. ( your basically saying namor body can tank mountain lvl attacks but his nose apparently can’t even tank 7 tons of force )
By your logic I can punch any animal in the nose and they would start bleeding badly because it’s a weak spot.
Plus if his nose was actually this weak the force of iron man blows ( or any strong character really) would break his easily nose
@dmnb2wavy: You think Namor is on par with Hulk or thor ?
Animals and humans arent the same
Every time writers want to show superficial damage they show a nose bleed
@dmnb2wavy: “You think Namor is on par with Hulk or thor ?“
no but why does that matter? Namor is ridiculously more durable than cap and so is thor or hulk but by your logic he can hurt them as well.
“Animals and humans arent the same“l
a lot of animals and humans both share the weakness to the nose so it’s very much similar but the thing is humans aren’t strong enough to do any real damage to it.
“Every time writers want to show superficial damage they show a nose bleed”
what do you mean by “superficial“
either way it’s pis as I just presented. Cap is no where close to namor lvl and what you are presenting is that namor nose is ridiculous weaker than the rest of his body. pretty much ( namor nose street lvl, body mountain lvl) as I stated namor nose would obviously be relative to his body.
