I see alotta ppl sayin the garbage shield, Dr Erskine speech &other such moments are lame.. when really if done right these will be THE defining moments that make the film..
 
Cant help but get the feeling some ppl just want to see a big hyper muscular dummy in a blue suit kick nazi-ass.. When thats NOT what Steve Rogers is.. "you just never give up do ya??" is what the guy sez to him before he punches the crap out of him.. THATS the key to Caps character the fact that nomatter how badly the odds are stacked against him.. He JUST WONT BACK DOWN.. &will Never Give up even when all is lost..THAT along with a strong moral center regardless of what govt was around is what drew me to the character all those years ago..&hopefully this is what theyll focus on instead of the bait jingoism some ppl are goin for
 
 
Also it seems their goin for the Amalgam effect as with the other succesful Marvel ventures ie Iron Man etc Bucky being his protector is an Ultimate take on Caps story.. &makes more sense &adds to the ironic twist as Cap will endup being HIS (&the nations) protector

I get misty-eyed watching this trailer.  I can't wait!

This is one awesome trailer. I haven't read anything about Captain America before now, but this might just have gotten me interested. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm pretty sure that was also sebastian stan beating him up in the alley. I don't really like the whole thing with bucky originally being bigger and tougher and better than steve. (probably only because it's different than the comics.) oh well. its still my most anticipated movie this summer.

What I think you're missing is that it's pretty clear when Cap is running down the street he's chasing down the Nazi/Hydra spy that wrecks the experiment and kills the good doctor. The chase likely climaxes with Cap following the assassin's escape vehicle (the sub) underwater and forcing it to emerge.
 
I just hope that the movie doesn't follow Ultimate Cap route by making Captain America as unlikeable and unappealing of a jerk as possible.

The plane was also in the trailer, hear me out the plane may not seem like much but, in actuality it seems alot like a stealth that the NAZIS were working on but, the war ended b4 more than a couple of planes could be made and they were never used. Think about though the NAZIS having a stealth bomber could have changed the tide of I war and i bet it will play a pivotal point in the move. This really deserves worth mentioning.

I actually thought Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch was spot on casting - I wonder how they'll reboot that series.

@G-Man: It looks like, in the bit at the end, it's still scrawny Steve being shot at by Peggy, so it would make sense why he's using the shield...

It would have been so cool if they could have found a way to work Wolverine in as one of the Howling Commandos.

I think this trailer was really great, it only shows glimpses of story, has enough action to get attention and  hints at whats to come. It has certainly got my attention.

(Inside Hydra's headquarters) 
Hydra soldier A: Dude there is no way we can loose! 
Hydra soldier B: Heck yeah man it will take something greater then the Atomic Bomb to beat us!

(Both soldiers high five when Cap bursts in with a handgun.)

Holy buffalo chip! This is a much more exciting and anticipated looking trailer than Thor's! I am truly impressed.

Truly, this movie has plenty of influences from Mark Millar's Ultimates! Hope Marvel acknowledges the bombastic Scot! Cant wait this one!

Ok as somebody who has taken every conceivable opportunity to throw this movie under the bus, the trailer made me change positions.  It at least will not be as bad as the corman fantastic four movie.  That said it has potential, so long as Evan's doesn't constantly use his, raspy attempt at a serious voice.  I actually started laughing.  Speaking of spectacular acting, him and megan fox in a would make for a oscar contender.  

Sort of dreading this one.  I hope they don't mess this up. :-(

I am seriously looking forward to seeing Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull. He's one of a select few actors who can play an unapologetically despicable villain without seeming ridiculous.
