During World War II, Steve Rogers volunteered to receive the experimental Super-Soldier Serum. Enhanced to the pinnacle of human physical potential and armed with an unbreakable shield, he became Captain America. After a failed mission left him encased in ice for decades, he was found and revived by the Avengers, later joining their ranks and eventually becoming the team's leader.
I am not exactly sure how old he was when he got the SSS, but I would say between 18-23, so we'll say 20. After the serum it was five years until he was frozen so that would be 25. So depending on how long ago in the current timeline he was frozen I'd say biologically he is probably in his early to mid thirties. And since its 2009 in the most recent Marvel comics I'd say he's 89. That all sounds about right to me :)
